2-flute Carbide Down-cut End-mills (MD208) - 1/8 in. (0.125 in.) shank

Think & Tinker 2-flute downcut end-mills feature a high radial flute-rake optimized to minimize the formation of fraying or splintering in balsa, softwoods, plywood and laminates. These changes result in bits with improved cutting properties in a wider range of materials. Our tools are routinely used for contouring and sound-hole cutting in hollow-body acoustic musical instruments.

Manufactured in the USA, every tool is:

  • 100% measured / optically inspected to insure that EVERY tool meets, or exceeds, our published specifications
  • available with depth rings precisely positioned to ±0.004 in. (0.10mm), virtually eliminating the need for resetting Z-axis zero in many applications)
  • made from premium grade submicrograin tungsten carbide (HRa: 93, TRS: 4.0GPa )
