CloseKerf©
is the name we have given to
an innovative new cutter geometry that allows rule to be packed closer
together than in a laser cut dieboard. This new geometry cuts so
true that the typical deflection
compensation is between 0.002 - 0.004 in.
while cutting at an unprecedented 110
- 120 in./min.

In 0.330 in. thick (5/16 in.,
8 mm) Baltic birch dieboard, 2 point rule can be spaced as close as 0.100
in. (2.54 mm, center to center). At this spacing, there is 0.022 in.
( 0.55mm) of gluing surface between adjacent cuts insuring tight, accurate
rule insertion and long term die stability.
